January 16, 2012 Hello all! Our sincere apologies for the site being down for a few weeks in the month of December. We've since corrected the issue and everything is back up and running in the new year. We've officially set a date to begin tracking drums for the full length album. We're set to begin February 25, 2012 and we're all very anxious to get started. You can read some more details in our recording diaries we will be posting on Facebook. The first entry is now up and you can read it here. Sarah and Jeff have been passing the time playing various acoustic shows as a duo, the most noted of these being the finals for the Lehigh Valley Acoustic Performers Contest in December 2011. Keep checking the shows page as well as the social networking sites for future acoustic shows as well as one or two full band shows in earlier 2012. August 27, 2011 Hello metalheads! Well, in a few days, the Kickstarter project will be coming to a close and we'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have helped make this a huge success. As we approach the deadline, we sit at $810, which is a FANTASTIC head start for the recording of our PRO album. If you haven't had a chance to contribute yet, there are still a few days left to do so! Also, thanks to all who have come out and supported our recent shows. Keep checking back on the shows page to see if we add any more for the remainder of 2011. July 10, 2011 Big news is here for Necromance! We've finally got a lot of exciting stuff to update you all with. First off, we FINALLY have a full band show set up for Saturday August 20th at the Sterling Hotel in Allentown, PA featuring Sinister Realm's John Gaffney again.. You will not want to miss this show, being that we'll be playing some new material and we rarely get to do full band shows anymore. Also, we are pretty far along in the planning stages to get started with our first PROFESSIONAL album. We've set up an account on a website called Kickstarter.com to help us raise money to begin recording. This will more or less serve as a very advance pre-order to save us time with raising money. For $10, you will receive a copy of the album, for $20 you will receive a copy and we will put your name in the thanks booklet and finally for $25, you will receive a copy with your name in the thanks booklet and your copy will be signed. YOUR ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE CHARGED until AFTER the project is completed(September 1st, 2011), so no need to worry about paying immediately. Also know that we NEED to meet $500 to receive any funding from the project, but we have practically met our goal already!! THANK YOU to those who have already contributed. For more details about he project, visit the project page. June 13, 2011 Well it seems this whole acoustic show idea is really taking off. We have 3 hour set at the Funhouse on June 20th at 10pm! We'll hopefully have more information on that soon. May 18, 2011 Change of plans! We would like to make everyone aware, that there will be shows going on as planned (mostly) on May 21st and June 4th. Sarah and Jeff will be doing special acoustic sets to fill the sets. May 21st's show is at Tattoo Island's Rock and Roll Luau in Broadheadsville and June 4th's show will now be at the Garfield Hotel in Northampton playing a special Iron Maiden themed acoustic set to open for Made in Iron, VooDoo and CA/CD. Hope to see you all there! April 17, 2011 We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all who had planned to attend any of our upcoming shows. We have now had to cancel 3 shows recently and we know people are bummed they won't be getting to see us. PLEASE try to be patient and stick with us. We are trying to work things out the best we can. While we can't promise we'll actually get anything together to play shows again soon, we do intend to begin discussion about a full length album to be released sometime in 2012. This is going to be a big deal and be our most dedicated endeavor in the history of Necromance. We are also still in need of a FULL TIME bassist. February 28, 2011 We would like to send out a BIG THANK YOU to everyone involved with the Hope for Allentown Benefit, held Sunday February 27th. Together we raised over $3,000 towards helping the poor people affected by the Allentown gas explosion. Necromance was a thankful last minute addition to this great event. In other news, the year has been off to a pretty great start for the band. We are in the process of setting up our own Lehigh Valley area HEADLINING SHOW. Also, our singer, Sarah has been selected to perform the national anthem at an Iron Pigs game this summer. The game is Tuesday, August 16th. You can purchase tickets HERE for as low as $6!
