NECROMANCE is seeking a FULL TIME bassist to join one of the area’s most promising and creative bands! We are based out of Whitehall, PA (A little north of Allentown). We have played over 50 gigs since 2005, including opening for several national acts at some of the area’s top venues. Our influences include (but are far from limited to): Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Dio/Black Sabbath, Savatage, Dream Theater, Avantasia, Journey, and Tesla.

What We’re Looking For:
-Age: 20-35 (preferred, but we’ll consider both younger and older)
-Live and Recording Experience preferred but not required.
-Must have fully-functioning gear to play live and rehearse. Rehearsals would be approximately once a week. Often a little less often, but stressed a bit more prior to live shows.
-At least a basic knowledge of Music Theory is strongly preferred. Ability to learn by ear is a plus.
-We prefer applicants live within 30 minutes of us, if only for their own benefit in terms of driving to practice/gigs/etc.

Please note:
This is an ad for a band seeking a bassist. We are expecting applicants to be willing to learn a couple of our songs for the audition process, and learn the rest of them upon joining the band. When it comes to writing, we are open to bringing new people into the fold, but only if we’re comfortable with it. If you are just looking to push your own musical agendas, you need not apply. We can NOT guarantee you any steady form of payment. If you are a working musician who needs to make X number of dollars for every session or every gig, we can’t meet your demands. We are seeking someone to join the aesthetic of our band who shares our same goals and visions for the long-term.
